Mary J.Blige ligger godt an. Det er det tre andre nominerte som også gjør. Fem nominasjoner er det nemlig også blitt på kanadiske Nickelbakc, Rascal Flatts og T.I.
Blige er blant annet nominert i kategoriene beste kvinnelige artist, beste R&B/hip-hop artist og beste R&B/hip-hop album. Plata The Breakthrough har så langt solgt 2,6 millioner eksemplarer, skriver Reuters.
Kanadiske Nickelback har turnert mye den siste tiden, og kan blant annet vinne pris i kategorien årets artist og årets rockartist.
Rascal Flatts kan også vinne fem priser, blant annet for årets countryartist og for årets countryplate.
Rapperen T.I kan se frem til å kanskje bli årets mannlige rapartist eller vinne kategorien årets rapalbum.
