Oasis kan ta hjem hele sju priser når musikkmagasinet NME arrangerer musikkfest i Brixton, Sør-London 25. februar.
«Wonderwall»-bandet er nominert i den gjeveste kategorien, Beste britiske band. Her konkurrerer de mot band som Bloc Party, The Last Shadow Puppets, Muse and Radiohead.
I kategorien Beste live band konkurrerer de mot band som The Killers and Kings Of Leon.
– Sju nominasjoner, er det alt? Jeg har alltid visst at min tid ville komme i Best kledde mann i verden-kategorien, kommenterer Noel Gallagher til NME.com.
Personligheter som Amy Winehouse er nominert for i Verst kledde-kategorien, mens Britney Spears er nominert for Verste album.
Spiller i Oslo
I kveld, tirsdag, spiller Oasis konsert i Oslo Spektrum. De er for tiden aktuelle med albumet «Dig out your soul» – som også er nominert for Beste album.
Andre som er nominerte for Beste album er Bloc Partys «Intimacy», Glasvegas sitt selvtitulerte debutalbum, «Day & age» av The Killers og «Only by the night» av Kings Of Leon.
Oasis er også nominert i kategorien Beste video for «The shock of the lightning», i kategorien Beste blogg, og vokalist og gitarist Noel Gallagher kan også vinne priser for Best kledde herremann og Årets helt.
Men ikke alle kategoriene er like gjeve, bandet er også på listen over de verste bandene.
